Services Provided

We provide:

  • checkDocument preparation for notarisation or legalisation (where requested)

All services are delivered digitally unless otherwise agreed.

Quotes & Orders

  • checkQuotes are based on the document(s) provided and the requirements stated at the time of enquiry.
  • checkQuotes may change if the final documents differ from those initially supplied.
  • checkWe reserve the right to decline any project.

Client Responsibilities

Clients must:

  • checkProvide accurate, legible, complete documents
  • checkConfirm the purpose of the translation (e.g., court use, regulatory submission, corporate compliance)
  • checkInform us of any formatting, certification, or jurisdiction-specific requirements
  • checkEnsure that the use of the translation complies with local laws and regulations

Delivery

  • checkStandard delivery is via email in PDF format.
  • checkTurnaround times are estimates and may vary depending on document complexity.
  • checkUrgent requests may incur additional fees.

Certification, Notarisation & Legalisation

Where certification, notarisation, or legalisation is requested:

  • checkWe will confirm the correct level of certification required
  • checkThird-party fees (notary, solicitor, FCDO, embassy) are charged separately
  • checkWe are not responsible for delays caused by third-party authorities

Accuracy & Limitations

  • checkTranslations are carried out with reasonable skill and care by qualified professionals.
  • checkWe do not provide legal advice
  • checkWe are not liable for decisions made based on translated content.
  • checkClients must review the translation promptly and notify us of any issues within 14 days of delivery.

Revisions

  • checkMinor corrections arising from translator error are included.
  • checkChanges due to client preference, updated documents, or additional requirements may incur extra charges.

Fees & Payment

  • checkPayment terms will be stated on the invoice.
  • checkFor new clients, payment may be required upfront.
  • checkLate payments may incur interest under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.

Confidentiality

  • checkAll documents are treated as strictly confidential.
  • checkFiles are stored securely and shared only with authorised translators or service providers.

Intellectual Property

  • checkCopyright in the original documents remains with the client.
  • checkCopyright in the translation remains with us until full payment is received.

Liability

We are not liable for:

  • checkLosses arising from the use of the translation
  • checkDelays caused by third parties
  • checkIndirect or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the service.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of England & Wales.
